____________________________________________________ CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2012 USBC YOUTH STATE CHAMPIONS!!

DATELINE: Allentown Pennsylvania, Site of the 2012 United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Pennsylvania State Bowling Championships. Three Avonworth bowlers dominate their individual divisions and the team event.
Avonworth Students, Kimmi D'Ottavio, Hannah Schoeppner and Lauren Schoeppner ,competing against more than 1500 bowlers from across the state, all came home with State Championships.  D'Ottavio coming home with the class "B" singles title and Hannah Schoeppner the Class "A" all events title. All three girls teamed with Josh Mann a North Hills student to win the Class "B" team event. To further the great showing, Lauren Schoeppner, Captain of the Avonworth High School Bowling Team, also placed 5th in class "B" singles and the team of Hannah Schoeppner and Josh Mann placed 2nd in the class "B" doubles event.  Kimmi and Hannah now each hold three State Championship titles having won in 2010 as well. Congratulations to all three. The future of the Avonworth Bowling team looks bright.
